First Impressions of: Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson

Another book from my Children’s Literature module.’s-1911.jpg
This book is a classic. I never read this when I was younger but I heard of it and of course with the remakes of movies this book has been well and truly dragged into the 21st century.
Penguin has published this as part of their classics collection and it’s not hard to tell why.
With the promise of adventure and the introduction of pirates, children and adults alike a swept into this story from start to finish.
It is a rather short story and of course is separated into chapters with 3 being from the doctors point of view. The rest are from the narrators view – the hero of the story Jim seekings, a young boy.
This story will forever be a classic and I think readers both young and old will still enjoy this story in many years to come comes.
