And… Relax | The Little Book of Peace | A Review

I received this book, via a competition on Twitter. The perfect kind of read for before the Christmas bustle and the mad rush to buy presents.

Modern life can often feel hectic, stressful and anxiety-inducing. Now more than ever it is harder to escape the sense of chaos in the world. Tiddy Rowan’s timeless book is designed to help us find a sense of inner peace and greater harmony with the people we live near, our environment and the world. The Little Book of Peace is an anthology of musings, insights and stories on peace and how we attain it in life, drawing from the wisdom of philosophers, religious leaders, secular thinkers, writers, poets and artists. This beautifully designed book will inspire, soothe and uplift the soul.

What I really liked about this book was how small it was. Perfect for when you don’t have much time to read, or you’ve hit a reading slump. This little hardback is also a nice size to fit into rucksacks or large handbags, with worrying about the cover or damaging the book.

This little book is filled with facts and little titbits on how to live a life a bit more calm and peaceful, it also includes quotes from various people, including; religious leaders, writers, poets, artists and philosophers.

A great little present for Christmas (yes, I realise we’ve now past Christmas) or even for yourself!

Let me know in the comments below if you’ve read this book and what you think of it, and, as always, if you haven’t read this book, will you take a look at it now?
